D-Zero wins the Beaver SC 10 hour marathon

Congratulations to John Turley (the D-Zero Northern Sails Agent) who, together Tony Wetherell has won the Beaver SC 10 hour Marathon race.

John says:

At the last minute I was invited to attend a long distance 10 hour race at Beaver Sailing Club, Snaith ,South Yorkshire.

Conditions were perfect for the D-Zero, force 2-3 ,I won the event teamed up with Tony Wetherell ,my ex helm from Scorpions,last event we won was Scorpion Nationals in 1977! Lapped Solo 3 x times in 10 hours, mixed handicap RS200,Laser Topper,Mirror etc.

The event was well organised,everyone got a prize and a slap up buffet at the finish which was 8.00 pm.

It is a open event and we should include on our calender in 2016,there was a lot of interest in the D-Zero.
