So round 8 of the D-Zero winter Series has now been complete. 6 hardy D-Zero sailors turned up at Northampton for the Steve Nicholson Trophy to battle the elements and each other (see the report elsewhere on the site).

With Nigel Austin taking a surprise (to him at least) 1st in class and Gordon coming in second in class this shakes up leaderboard a little. David and Ian still hold the top spots and cannot be beaten to them. Ian can move ahead of David if he has a good weekend at the Tiger Trophy this coming weekend though.

The final podium sport is definitely not decided with Nigel jumping up to 3rd and shunting Tom down to 4th and not forgetting Rob Lennox who is making a late charge and could jump the pair of them once he completes his 4th event this coming weekend.

The ever consistent Gordon also moves up a couple of spots to get ahead of Dave and Robert who both did not sail at Northampton.

So there is still plenty to play for this coming weekend with the Tiger Trophy and time to get a late entry in by clicking here.
