Emsworth, UK – dzero.co.uk is proud to announce Jamie Briggs as the Youth Ambassador for the D-Zero sailing dinghy built by Devoti Sailing.

David Valentine of dzero.co.uk said “Jamie presented some compelling and interesting ideas as to how and what he could offer dzero.co.uk and the D-Zero Class from a youth point of view, and we are keen to bring more youths into sailing and to quality exciting dinghies such as the Devoti D-Zero”
Jamie has raced the D-Zero before and presented a clean pair of heels to other owners, and is keen to assist through the use of video and vlogs how to use his Optimist, Topper and Laser squad training to improve all levels of D-Zero sailor. He will be sailing the D-Zero, aswell as his Topper, from Largs Sailing Club, the site of the 2020 D-Zero Nationals sponsored by RSK and Tunnocks.

Jamie said “I can’t wait to sail my new D-Zero”. We all await the appropriate winds and weather, and look forward to 2020 sailing season, and Jamie’s results.
Dzero.co.uk are the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for the Devoti Sailing D-Zero and Optimist. Based on the South Coast, they regularly attend all the Class events and others, to race the D-Zero and spread the word.
The D-Zero is designed by Southampton designer Dan Holman in 2014, built by Devoti Sailing, and kitted with Harken, Compotech and North Sails. Great for a fun outing though designed with the competitive sailor in mind. An RYA recognized class and supported by a UK Class Association with events all over the UK and growing fleets in Europe.
