Please see the message below from Russ Hopkins, the D-Zero Class Secretary:
To all D-Zero Class Association Members, D-Zero Owners, prospective D-Zero Owners and fellow sailors,
On behalf of the class committee I would like to wish our members, friends and fellow sailors a fantastic Christmas and Happy new year! 2015 has been a great year for the D-Zero class, we have grown in numbers and matured as a class association. Whilst we still have areas to improve upon I am proud of where the class is and the people involved. 2016 is set to be a fantastic year, with fantastic events.
Oh one more thing, 2015 is not over yet! We have some brilliant events coming up over the next week or so! Starting with the Brass Monkey and Grafham Grand Prix this weekend. Entry for the Brass Monkey is full and we have 8 D-Zeros entered and we already have 18 D-Zeros entered from the Grafham Grand Prix! What an achievement. However I would encourage you to enter if you are sitting on the fence, lets get over the 20 pre-entries! Also on the 2nd January we have the Oxford Blue, currently with 12 boats entered. Again this has been a cracking event for us as a fleet and I would love to push that number before the entry closes.
If you want more information on these events please click here, but I urge you all to encourage club mates to attend.
So lets raise a glass over the festive period and reflect on the Classes journey! But also make sure that when making New Years resolutions at least one of them is D-Zero related.
Merry Christmas,
Russ Hopkins
on behalf of the committee
