The grapevine has told me that our favourite dinghy has been showing herself off in Paris recently at the Salon Nautique 2014 (that’s the Paris Boat Show 2014).

Rémi Perrin (Chairman of the International D-One Class Association) class says:

Our D-One and D-Zero at the Paris Boat Show 2014.
A shared display with “Jeep” (a sponsor of the 5O5 Class), the D-One was displaying the quality of the Devoti-Sailing construction and hardware, while the “elevated” D-Zero display allows visitors to admire the fantastic hull shape.
I spent the week-end on the stand, and met many interested sailors about our boats.
A long visit also from the President of the French Sailing Federation, with questions on the boat concept, tuning aso aso …
All very impatient to see the two boats on the water in May during the French Interseries National Championship.

Rémi also tells me that interest in the D-Zero in France is growing and he regularly posts updates from from the UK Class Website and the D-Zero social media feeds to a section of the French D-One forum: http://www.d-one-france.fr/index.php/forum/d-zero-section

I think you will agree from the photos below that she does look stunning. The only comment back was the fact that people had to climb on the Jeep to get a look at her topside attributes.
