The 2019 D-Zero open meeting circuit kicks off on the weekend of the 13th/14th April 2019 at Rossendale Valley SC.
Following on from positive feedback from a number of visitors the decision was taken by the host club to make this a 2 day event this year. This will hopefully entice a few travellers from the growing fleet north of the border.
Rossendale Valley SC is situated to the North of Manchester and about an hour’s drive from this year’s inlands nationals venue, making this an ideal opportunity for a bit of pre-inlands practice at a venue with similar conditions to Yorkshire Dales.
With this in mind, anyone attending this open is welcome to leave their boat at the club afterwards and pick it up before the Inlands, saving some towing miles and making the journey home that bit easier.
Full details will be posted on the clubs wesbite, http://www.rvsc.co.uk, along with an online booking option.
For now the outline is to arrive on Friday or Saturday, with practice possible on Friday pm, race Saturday and Sunday, Saturday evening meal at the club, galley open for breakfast, lunch, brews, etc.
