This will be the sixth national championships of the D-Zero Class and the first to be held away from the South Coast – a big vote of confidence in Scotland, and Largs as an International Sailing Venue.
The 2019 Nationals were held at the prestigious Weymouth Portland National Sailing Academy – site of the London Olympics Sailing
Forty-three D-Zeros competed, with three Scots figuring in the top ten overall.

Scotland was voted unanimously as the location for the next Nationals at Largs Sailing Club on the basis that Largs SC is recognised as hi-quality sailing, extremely hospitable, venue. It has hosted four very popular D-Zero Scottish Championships; the 2019 event enjoying 17 entries, with boats travelling from all over the UK.
It is expected that the 2020 event will attract at least 45 boats with more than a dozen Scottish Entries. In the Scottish Year of Coasts and Waters we intend to make this one of the best and most enjoyable racing events that the fleet has experienced.
RSK, an international Engineering, Environmental and Support Services Group, have agreed to sponsor the event and the on water tracking by SailRacer is sponsored by Tunnocks. We are hoping that other Scottish companies will support the event to give a real Scottish Welcome and a taste of the best Scotland has to offer.
The plan, as with previous years, is to have a BBQ on the Friday evening. This is not included in the entry fee as we appreciate people may have other plans Friday.
Food on Saturday is included and will precede the AGM which we will aim to keep short and sweet so as not to spoil the party.
More details will be released as they are finalised, in the meantime get your entry in by clicking here.
