Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club
On the 10th and 11th October 2015 the D-Zero fleet will be heading north to Yorkshire Dales SC for their inaugural Inland Championships sponsored by Suntouched Sailboats.
The notice of race and sailing instructions will be issued to all competitors on arrival. The first race on Saturday will not be before 1:00pm and the plan is to finish mid afternoon on the Sunday.
The host club have put together an event package that includes a meal on the Saturday evening for a total cost of £20 per competitor. Additional meal tickets will be available but please ensure you book these in advance by completing the form below. In addition to this there will be catering available on site for the entire weekend and camping is permitted on site overnight on Saturday at no extra charge (best to get the tents up before you hit the bar). There are also plans for a bonfire on the Saturday night (it gets cold up north I am told). If that does not warm you up then there is always the sanctuary of the excellent clubhouse.
The is no requirement to pre-enter but please let John Turley know if you are planning to attend so he has an idea of numbers.
Still not persuaded? Well having sailed at Yorkshire Dales (for the aptly named Brass Monkey) it is once of the prettiest locations I have had the pleasure of sailing at and is a very friendly club with excellent facilities. So why not come and join the fleet.
