what benefits do i get from joining ?

This is the question asked by many boat owners across all sailing dinghy classes. At the D-Zero Class Association we like to think we provide value back for all types of sailor not just those who go travelling.
So here is what your £32 subscription gets you:

1) Discounts ! - Just advised Sailing Chandlery are now providing 10% discount to D-Zero Class members, just another benefit of joining ! Codes now on the Rigging page.
​The UK dealer, dzero.co.uk, will give you 10% off all accessories and general chandlery.  Using a special discount code at checkout, you can quite easily save your CA subs if it is cover replacement time or you are planning on pimping your rigging; or how about a 10% Discount when you insure your shiny D-Zero via our ongoing class sponsor Noble Marine, aswell as 10% discount from Sailing Chandlery who support the class with multiple prizes and sponsorship, so please support all of these companies back by purchasing products from their online stores.

2) Personal Sail Numbers - for a small additional yearly fee Class Association members can have a personal sail number between 2 and 99 where available. i.e. your year of birth 66, or favourite/lucky number 3, or your age 11 ?

3) Have a larger voice with the builder - The Class Association is there to represent you. Together with the UK dealer we have a great relationship with Devoti Sailing who control the class rules. Many of the recent rule tweaks and changes have come about via suggestions and ideas from UK Class Association members.

4) A voice with the RYA - The Class Association are RYA affiliated. This means we represent you as a D-Zero owner.

5) Protecting your asset / investment of a D-Zero - The Class Association actively promotes the D-Zero, organising and co-ordinating all Class events across the country. We also operate a friendly, owner driven, demo programme alongside the UK dealer (who is a D-Zero owner).
